Global Coverage Analyzer (GCA) was created from the combination of an extensive international coverage catalogue, a powerful mapping platform and industry-leading market research. GCA is a web-based mapping application for the viewing and comparing of 2G, 3G and 4G network coverage in over 200 countries world-wide. It has been specifically designed to help operational and strategic professionals to improve their mobile industry research on mobile coverage.

GCA allows a researcher to view and compare multiple coverage patterns on a high quality digital map. After selecting a set of operators, each coverage layer can be assigned a custom colour and opacity, resulting in potentially complex coverage relationships to be visualised intuitively. Areas served by single or multiple networks can easily be identified. The display order of coverage layers may also be changed to suit specific requirements. The coverage map is fully interactive, allowing the user to explore freely, or go straight to an area of interest using the comprehensive search function.

GCA has access to over 1200 well-maintained coverage patterns for 2G, 3G and 4G technologies, including GSM (inc. GPRS/EDGE), W-CDMA/UMTS (inc. HSPA/HSPA+), LTE, CDMA (1X, EV-DO, EV-DO Rev. A & B), iDEN and WiMAX. This collection represents the most extensive catalogue of mobile coverage available.
