Europa Technologies is a leading digital map data manufacturer specialising in global mapping for fixed / mobile telecommunications, space systems, insurance / reinsurance, televisions / film and general use within Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The company's products are used by many of the worlds Fortune 500 companies plus several missions of the United Nations. Famously, the company's digital maps are used within the ubiquitous Google Earth software which has enjoyed over 100 million downloads worldwide with exposure in global broadcast news (e.g. CNN, Sky News). Europa Technologies is the official map service provider to the GSM Association - the global trade body for the leading mobile telecommunication system. In cooperation with over 800 network operators, the company is building the definitive map of the mobile world. Europa Technologies also offers professional services including software and map data development, international geocoding and consultancy.

Europa Technologies was formed in 1990 (as Switchport Ltd.) and has made a profit in every trading year. The business has enjoyed growth in turnover and profit in 13 out of 16 full trading years.
