At Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona, global mapping specialists Europa Technologies have published updated versions of their GSM World and European coverage maps. The maps show the extent 2G and 3G coverage over the dominant GSM standard and graphically illustrate the number of countries now benefitting from 3G coverage for the first time.

The A2-size maps are available free of charge from the GSM Association stand at Mobile World Congress and can also be downloaded in PDF format from www.coveragemaps.com
