New service from Europa Technologies offers high quality cartographic rendering of OS VectorMap™ Local

At the AGI GeoCommunity conference, digital map specialists Europa Technologies have announced a tile rendering service for Ordnance Survey's new OS VectorMap Local product. Revealed on the launch day for OS VectorMap Local, the service converts the standard GML delivery format into attractive street maps, prepared for rapid deployment on the web.

The service creates tile sets compatible with a number of popular map APIs including OpenLayers, OS OpenSpace®, ESRI JavaScript API, Oracle MapViewer and Microsoft Bing Maps. Europa Technologies have developed a default cartographic style based on Ordnance Survey style guidelines, with a fully customised styling also available.
